Any contribution from Bangkok’s wakeboarders?

Due to lack of response from the Bangkok wakeboarder community,
I stopped maintaining this site for the time being.
If there should be anyone interested to keep it alive, please post me a message.

I have just moved to Bangkok a couple months ago from Florida. I used to surf everday no matter the conditions, and I am getting seriously depressed living away from the beach. I have been to Indo twice alreay to surf but that is puttin a serious dent in my wallet and since I teach all day I ususally don’t have a lot of freetime.
I used to go skurfing behind a boat back home and am interested in wakeboarding as a way to relieve stress and get some exercise during the week. How would I go about getting started here in Bangkok? Where can I find a board, bindings, etc. and where are the best places to learn to ride?
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

    Hi Brett,
Lake Taco would be a good place to start wakeboarding,
the rates are reasonable and you can get all equipment there.
The staff is very helpful and will help you getting up on a board…
    Give it a try!
